On EmeraldChatCam they do three jobs: keep you matched and signed in, remember simple preferences, and tell us anonymously which pages get read. Strictly necessary cookies carry your session through a match — without them the service simply does not run. Preference cookies remember settings so you are not asked twice. Analytics cookies count visits in aggregate and stay anonymous — they tell us which pages earn their place, never who you are.
When you buy coins or a VIP membership, the external payment processor may set its own cookies to run checkout and prevent fraud.
