Cookie Policy — What We Set and Why

Which cookies EmeraldChatCam sets and why — the strictly necessary ones that carry your session, preference and anonymous analytics cookies, partner cookies at checkout, and how to refuse or clear them.

What cookies do here

Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site can recognize your session. On EmeraldChatCam they do three jobs: keep you matched and signed in, remember simple preferences, and tell us anonymously which pages get read. Nothing more exotic than that — the wider data picture sits in the privacy policy.

The cookies we set

Strictly necessary cookies carry your session through a match — without them the service simply does not run. Preference cookies remember settings so you are not asked twice. Analytics cookies count visits in aggregate and stay anonymous — they tell us which pages earn their place, never who you are.

Cookies from partners

When you buy coins or a VIP membership, the external payment processor may set its own cookies to run checkout and prevent fraud. Those live under the processor’s own policy, and EmeraldChatCam never sees the full card details they protect. What happens to a purchase afterwards is covered in the refund policy.

Managing or refusing cookies

Any modern browser can block or wipe cookies from its privacy settings. Kill the strictly necessary ones and matching stops working; kill the rest and you only lose a few remembered preferences. Wiping everything also signs you out — sometimes that is exactly the point.
