Community Guidelines
EmeraldChatCam drops you face to face with a real stranger in seconds. That only stays fun if the people in the queue are worth meeting, so these rules define what gets you welcomed back and what gets you removed. They apply to video, voice and text alike — and they are enforced, not decorative.
Adults only, keep it clean
Everyone on EmeraldChatCam must be 18 or older — an age gate stands before any matching begins, full stop. The service is 18+ because live conversation between strangers is for adults, but it is not an adult content service: nudity, sexual acts and asking strangers for explicit material are prohibited, and crossing that line ends the account.
Respect the person on the other side
No harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeting someone over who they are. A no is a no — camera on or off, typed or spoken. If a chat is not for you, skip — Next is one tap and nobody owes anyone an explanation. The safety page covers the habits that keep good calls good, and how it works explains the skip-block-report loop step by step.
No scams, no spam, no recording
Never ask strangers for money, gift cards or off-platform payments, and never run promotional links or scripts at people. Just as important: do not record, screenshot or rebroadcast the person you matched with — a private call is private for both sides. If someone breaks these rules at you, report the match and then block; report protects the next person, block ends your problem.
How enforcement works
Every report and block feeds human moderation. Repeat offenders leave the matching queue — temporarily for a first strike, permanently when the behavior warrants it. Any account tied to a minor is removed on sight and, where the law requires, reported to the authorities. The legal frame around all of this sits in the terms of service, and anything unclear can go to the team through the contact page.
